Educational Programming

Border CrosSing is excited to announce our 4th Annual School Residency Program for middle and high schools in the Twin Cities Metro during the 2025-2026 Academic Year!

Thanks to a generous Music Education Partnership Grant from Chorus America, Border CrosSing is thrilled to be able to offer School Residencies to two partner schools next school year completely FREE to participating schools.

These residencies include an introductory performance for students, classroom visits to rehearsals with Border CrosSing Teaching Artists, and a joint performance opportunity for students and Border CrosSing. Students would also be invited to participate in our Winter Community Sing of Las Posadas, or our Spring Community Sing.

Founded in 2017, Border CrosSing envisions a fundamental change in classical music culture, so that every concert, every audience, and the artists on stage truly reflect the cultural reality in which we live.

Our work provides opportunities for people from different communities to understand each other in new ways through our multilingual Puentes concert series, educational programs in schools, and collaborations with Minnesota’s most important cultural organizations, including Schubert Club, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, and the Minnesota Orchestra.
