Join Border CrosSing for our 2024-2025 Season closer: the regional premiere of Réquiem Osún by Cuban composer Calixto Álvarez. It is a Requiem Mass that brings together the Christian Requiem for the Dead in Latin with prayers to the Orishas in Yoruba and other West African indigenous languages.
Performances are Friday, 30 May at 7pm at Church of the Ascension in Minneapolis, and Saturday, 31 May at 7pm at Academia Cesar Chavez School in Saint Paul.
