Join Border CrosSing for the final concert of our 2024-2025 Season: the regional première of Réquiem Osún, by Cuban composer Calixto Álvarez, in its entirety. This work is a Requiem Mass that brings together the Christian Requiem for the Dead in Latin with prayers to the Orishas in Yoruba and other West African indigenous languages.

Performances are Friday, 30 May at 7pm at Church of the Ascension in Minneapolis, and Saturday, 31 May at 7pm at Academia Cesar Chavez School in Saint Paul.
